Overview
Vecta undertook a concept study to assess replacement options for two ageing Hastelloy reactors used in the production of crop protection chemicals. The study evaluated alternative materials, reactor configurations, process modifications and safer solid reactant handling methods. Vecta provided technical assessments, capital cost estimates and implementation schedules for viable options, giving the client a clear technical and commercial basis for its reactor replacement business case.
