Overview

Vecta Group was engaged to design, construction manage, and commission a new permanent F34 dosing facility at Viva Energy’s Pinkenba Terminal, following the successful delivery of a temporary system.

Scope

The scope included:

  • Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and detailed design

  • HAZOP facilitation and documentation

  • Process engineering design

  • Owners engineer to review and approve the mechanical, piping, instrumentation and controls design

  • Tender preparation and technical/commercial bid evaluation

  • Site installation supervision

  • Commissioning and operational procedures

  • Project QA and closeout

Challenges

The project required delivery within a compressed timeframe while coordinating multiple stakeholders. Installation was undertaken in a live operational environment, requiring careful planning to maintain safety and site access.

Solutions

Vecta led coordination across all stakeholders, ensuring alignment throughout design and delivery. A modular, off-site construction approach was implemented to reduce on-site installation time, improve safety, and maintain schedule.

Outcomes

The F34 dosing system was delivered on time and on budget with zero incidents. The solution enabled the client to meet operational requirements and respond effectively to market demand.
